The Village Board and Department of Public Works collaborated to announce the installation of a communication board in Westwood Park. Verbal communication can be difficult for some children. A communication board contains pictures or photos that a child will point to in order to communicate with those around them. “Malverne is known for its overwhelming sense of inclusivity and comfort. The addition of a communication board extends our efforts to meet the needs of every resident,” said Mayor Tim Sullivan.
